Mother, it is another nice day here in Raeigh, NC. I want to just pick up the phone and give u a call for our little chats in between your favorite many tv shows. I wish you could be with me today to plant some winter pancies and do a little raking of the leaves. Then go have a nice lunch with cake and icecream.
Just miss you so much..Quinn is spending the weekend with Aunty Karen and Uncle Brian for her upcoming birthday on Monday --she is getting her ears pierced, I got her some new books and Karen got a new coat and I'm sure a haitcut, Quinn wants it shoulder length. Can't believe she is going to be nine and Aidan seven --I got him a game for the wii for his birthday next month. I pray hard for those kids and being that they are good kids will get through this mess with their mother. My love to you mother,

Laura gave me a wee call over the holidays and I feel sad for her as she is so far away and I can't give her a cuddle like I can my dad or Karen. Your Mother Arabella Was My Godmother

For the last year, I have been working on my family tree. I am the Grandaughter of James and Agnes Curran. Agnes was an older sister of Lizzie. I was born in 1952, the year after your Mother came to the US. She became my Godmother at my baptism. While my memories of her are faint, two weeks ago it popped into my head to add her to the tree and I passionately gathered information hoping that I would finally find a living relative. Alas I came to learn that she had just passed. I send my sympathies and the hope that her passing will bring me in touch with my Madden family. I live in New Hampshire. I am the daughter of Agnes' youngest daughter Theresa who passed away in 2000. My mother and your mother were close when Arabella lived in the USA. I hope to visit Scotland in the next year or so. I would love to hear from any of you. My email address is pamela.kirby@comcast.net. I have my baptism certificate with your mother, Arabella Lucas, listed as my Godmother. I hope to hear from you. To experience life's successes...
And a few of its failures
Mother's compassion for others was so deep!
She looked for the need and she filled it
She treated others with kindness and respect
And many lives were blessed through her goodness.."
