MARTIN On 25th October 2008 at home McLure House, Bakery Street, Auchencairn Elizabeth Ann Martin. Beloved wife of the late Jack, adored daughter of Andy, sister of Christine and a loving auntie and sister-in-law. Funeral service on Friday 31st October in Auchencairn Parish Church at 12 noon followed by interment in Auchencairn Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please. If so desired donations to Cash for Kids may be given at the service or sent to Ian Bendall, New Market Street, Castle Douglas, DG7 1HY

    Am so sad to hear that you are gone, but at least now you are with Jack, and the thought that the two of you are together at least is a comfort for all am sure.Looked up to you so much and don't think you ever realised how great you were, always putting everyone else before yourself. Am holding on tight to the happy memories of you and feel privileged to have known you. Your legacywill live onin all the work you put into your community and I hope the people of DumGal appreciated your passion for them and the issues they hold dear. xxx
