MARTIN Suddenly at home in Perth on 3rd January 2009, Donny Martin, aged 73, beloved husband of Nancy, much loved dad of Gail, Lorraine, Donna, Louise and Kim, a dearest grandad and great-grandad and a dear brother of Frances and the late Sylvia and Ian. Funeral on Monday 12th January service in Perth Crematorium at 12.30pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

    ok although I don't neccessarily know what to say and am just going with the flow of writing this message I promise a meaningful message .

    dad /grandad we miss you , love you and am always thinking of you and we know you are always there to give us the strength of everday struggles.It has been one year since we last saw you and we feel as if we want to cry but we know you would not want us to so we won't we just want to say we love you

    I miss you now more than ever knowing you will never come back and now it is almost christmas, new year and it is very close to the anniversary of your death I miss you and need You to sit and tell me all the rubbish you watch on the television.

  • We Miss You Grandad

    These are some of the things I miss and remember about you..

    I remember you having your teeth in at Lol's wedding and how weird you looked. Your the only person I ever knew who looked better without falsies in!

    I remember you telling me its better to eat my peas with your hands cuz the wee buggers always fall off the fork.

    I remember you getting me round to fix your video player and it only needed plugging in.

    I remember you pouring your dram perfectly but spilling mine all over the table!!

    I remember you singing your wee heart out to ally bally ally bally bee - I'll always think of you when I hear that song.

    I remember how thankful you were when I made the effort to visit you - you really appreciated it.

    I remember you coming round to get mum to cutyour toenails cut cuz you couldn't stand doing it yourself!

    I remember you babysat once and made us eat porridge wi no sugar just salt - the scottish way you said!

    I remember you insisting that i line up the chips perfectly before i stuck them in the oven (!)

    I remember being so proud of you when I brought friends round to visit cuz you were so much fun.

    I remember you being the best Grandad a girl could ask for and I only wish I could have told you that before you had to leave us.

    Kara asks about you all the time, she knows you are ok up there in heaven with the stars.

    You will never be forgotten Grandad we love you so much, rest peacefully knowing you are dearly loved.
