SAMUEL Joan 22.07.1937 - 12.02.2009 It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Joan Samuel. Joan was the beloved wife of Vernon, loving mother to Gaynor, Steven, Lyndon, Helen and Glenda, mother-in-law to Mervyn, Sharon, Simeone and Lewis, loving grandmother to Gemma, Natasha, Coral, Rebecca, Daniel, Alicia, Angel, Michael, Sarah and Rachel, loving great grandmother to Roxanne, also a beloved sister to Norma and the late Mary, sister-in-law to Victor and the late Ernie, aunt to David, John, Chris, Brian, Kerry and the late David and their families, Joan was the much loved daughter of the late Billy and Martha Rowlands of Field Street, Trelewis. We would like to thank family and friends for attending the funeral and for the beautiful flowers, cards and letters. A special thank you to the Reverend Mathew Gibbon for the lovely service at the Chapel Of Rest and for his kindness to the family. Thank you also to John Davies and Sons Funeral Directors and staff for the dignity and compassion shown in carrying out the funeral arrangements. We were blessed to have Mam in our lives and miss her every day.
