McCORD Peacefully passed away after a long illness, JOHN, at Udston Hospital on 4th July, 2009, beloved husband of Nan, aged 77, devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.Time does not heal the heartache,or stop a silent tear,or take away the memories,of one we love so dear. -Loving wife Nan.Loved and remembered. -Son James.A heart of gold, a smiling face,a fathers love we can never replace. -Elizabeth and Andy.Too dearly loved to be forgotten, sleep tight grandad. -Gary and Amanda.Songs that meant so much to you,we will remember our whole life through. -All your nieces and nephews.The world will seem lonely without you dad,we just have to smile when we remember you. -Love you always, Senga.We will always remember you,with a smile in our hearts,Love you always grandad.Teresa, Stacey and William.Night night papa JOHN. -From great grandchildren Tia, Yasmin and Gabriella.Jesus came to gather flowers,on the way he gathered ours. -Sister-in-law Peggy and family.JOHNS funeral will be held at Fyfes Funeral Parlour, Peacock Cross on Friday, 10th July at 10am then on to Priestfield Cemetery commencing at 10:30am.The family would like to thank all at Douglas Ward, Udston Hospital for all their care and support.Thank you.

it made no sense to me.
I only say goodbye,
to those I'll never see.
One day I'll hold your hand again;
in my heart I do believe,
that death is not the end of life;
it's just a short reprieve.
I never said goodbye to you,
instead I said "I love you".
As you departed on your journey
to a place where life is new.
I held your hand and kissed you.
Your leaving made me cry.
But in the end,
I know I'll see you again...
So I never said goodbye.i love you soo much granda i hope you have finally found peace we all miss you everyday. i still dont believe your gone i wake up and think im goin to see you but im not. i hope you heard the bands and the flutes wherever you are.
well till we meet again - gone from us but not forgoten!!! x x x x x x x x x
