Report this message By David Harkness on 22nd Jan 2011Before you leave can I just say
I loved you each and every day
I don’t know how I'm going to cope
As I spend my days in prayer and hope
That you realised you weremore than a Mother
And that caring for you was no burden or bother
I tried to prolong the life that we had
Making believe things weren’tso bad
My beautiful mother, companion and friend
I'm glad I was with you right at the end
So move on now to that better life
Be with our Dad and again be his wife
Goodbye my best friend and safe journey on
Please wait for me there till my own time has come
Report this message By Billy Harkness on 22nd Jan 2011I can' t believe a year has past. Forever in our thoughts and always in our hearts. Things will never be the same but Mum I know you are with Dad looking down watching over us and I know you both would be proud.

Report this message By David Harkness on 20th Jan 2011Although I miss you everyday I am surrounded by your love in the wee hoose that we shared, everwhere I look I see a memory, I still smell you, hear you and talk to you. We knew we wouldn't have you with us forever and that Dad had been waiting over 23 years to have you at his side again, but it doesn't stop the emptiness in our lives with the space you have left behind. When I look in the mirror I see you in my features, the smile, the dimple, the eyes and I know that you and Dad live on in all of us in one way or another. For the rest of my life I will miss you, my Mother, my companion, my friend. Love you always and ever David XXXXX
