THOMSON Peacefully, and surrounded by her family, at Hairmyres Hospital, on 26th February, 2010, HELEN (Nellie), aged 96 years, loving wife of the late John and much loved mum to Jessie, Nessie, Joan, Ian, the late Frank and mother-in-law to Colin, Bel and Agnes.Don't think of her as gone away,Her journey has just begun,Life holds so many facets,This earth is only one,Just think of her as resting,From the sorrows and the tears,In a place of warmth and comfort,Where there are no days and years,Think how she must be wishing,That we could know today,How nothing but our sadness,Can really pass away, And think of her as living,In the hearts of those she touched,For nothing loved is ever lost,And she was loved so much.-Your loving Family. Our Nana we loved so much,How we miss her gentle touch,We all know she's around,Anytime we're up or down,So now we keep our heads up high,Hear her saying "Don't you cry"Because I'll be with you everyday,And that's the way it will always stay.-All GrandchildrenWe loved you darling and always will,You have left a place no one can fill.Loving sister Jessie, George and family. The family wish to thank the staff of Ward 8. Special thanks to Cathy, Co-operative Funeralcare and Rev. Karen Harbiston.
