JEAN SWEETMANSWEETMAN Jean Died suddenly in Folkestone on the 7th March, 2010. Jean had lived in Coventry, in the Green Lane area for over 40 years with her late husband Fred and her 2 children Andrew and Bernice. Jean moved to Folkestone 6 years ago when her eyesight started to fail and to be near Andrew's family and her only grand daughter Harriet. In the 70s and 80s Jean worked as a classroom assistant at Wainbody Wood School for special needs children, A demanding job that she loved and was very good at, having such a gift with children. Fred Sweetman was an electrical engineer with the E.M.E.B. and their children attended Bablake and Stoke Park Grammar School. Jean's funeral will be held in Folkestone on the 19th March at 12.30pm. The family have selected Kent Association for the Blind as Jean's charity in recognition for all their kindness to Jean whilst she lived in Folkestone. If you wish to make a donation please send to Chittendens Funeral Services, 1 Ingoldsby Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT19 6JJ. Jean was a free spirit who at 83 years of age never grew old - a very special person. From those who loved her
