Alright Grand. Me and Luke have started planting daffodils up the mountain for you and the rest of the gang. A bit daft but it gives me an excuse to come up and talk to you all for a while. It's looking smart up there now.
I still think of you all often and cherish the memories we made together.

Well Dad spring is here and your birthday is approaching. I think if you all the time, but the pain I feel is more sharp at this time of year. I know how you loved the spring the new growth of the plants and trees and the animals and birds having their young and raising them up.life has moved on since you left us. Children have done well at school and university new homes have been bought and babies born. ( One of which was named for you.) I so wish you could be here to see these things, I miss you and Mam every day and hope we make you proud. Love you both now and forever. Donna xxxx

We lost you 6 years ago today Dad. I still miss you so much. You were such a huge part of our lives a massive hole has been left. You would be so proud of your grandsons and the men they have become. They are both doing well on their chosen paths. But each time they achieve something my joy and pride is always tinged with sadness that you can’t share this with them. Love you now and forever and miss you everyday. Xxxx

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
spring marches on with life's refrain
I am the fields, filled with joy again
life springs anew and summer will come
I am the moon, the stars, the sun
As the autumn breeze stirs at first
I am the leaves their colour's a burst
winter comes when autumn's laid low
I am the diamond glints on snow,
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
It's been five years now grand. we're all still missing you and remember you fondly.
Matthew
